Rajasthan’s Neemrana Fort Resort on NH 48

Build during 1464 AD, the Neemrana Fort Palace is a Crown Jewel of the Neemrana Group Enterprise. Neemrana Fort Palace serves as one of India’s oldest heritage resorts spanning in an area of 10 hectares. From 1986, the ruined sites of this Fort were sensitively restored and reconstructed many times. The rooms are furnished with British era furniture, several antiques, object art with private balconies and terraces, even the loos were also designed to have splendid views!

Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who died in a battle with Mohammad Ghori. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo. The name of the fort was derived from the name of a chieftain who fought Chauhans in a battle. He later pleaded to keep his name, and thus, Nimola Meo’s lost land i.e. Neemrana Fort is now a heritage resort. The fort falls on NH 48 which connects Delhi and Rajasthan
