Rang Ghar
In 1229 CE., Charaideo was the royal seat of Ahom in the reign of King Chaolung Sukhapa. The earthen mounds of Sivasagar are amongst the most renowned historical sites of Assam. A nice two storied amphitheater, Rang Ghar is a royal venue for king and Royal family to witness various performances.
Rajeswar Singha, an Ahom ruler, made the Talatal Ghar, which served as a base for the army. The Talatal Ghar along with its complementing structure above the ground has a complex, Kareng Ghar, an excellent instance of Ahom architecture
