Langpangkong Caves: Nagaland

In Langpangkong range, inside the valleys of Dikhu and Tzula Rivers, a series of caves create attractions for explorer or anthropologists alike, believed as a shelter taken by an Ahom King. Langpangkong is one of the well visited and a famous attraction of Nagaland. History

  • Due to its history, Langpangkong is legendary.  After a regal brawl, the Ahom King left his capital at Sivasagar. He took shelter at one of the caves in Langpangkong which are still intact and is on display for explorers.
