Exclusive Manipur
Imphal has always been the epicentre of royal Manipur as mentioned in “Kangleipak” before the advent of Britishers, through the Instrument of Accession in 1947, Manipur became a part of the Union. In 1956, it was declared as a Union Territory until 1972. Imphal, being the capital of Manipur reflects the unique blend of cultures from Meitei, Kuki & Naga. Within Manipur, the biggest attraction of the place is the serene Loktak. While planning your northeast vacation, have multidimensional delights from Imphal that covers both sightseeing, adventure activities and memorials.
Day 1 :

Day 2 :
Imphal Local Sightseeing
You will explore Kangla Fort & Museum (Wednesday closed), Govindajee & Mahabali Temple, Imphal Museum, Second World War Cemeteries & a unique bazaar run by women.
Day 3 :
Excursion to Loktak Lake
Excursion to Loktak Lake and Sendra Island. Later explore Keibul Lamjao National Park, the last habitat of the endangered marsh-dwelling brow-antlered deer of Manipur called “Sangai”. It is a floating national park, composed of floating weed (called “Phumdi” in local dialect). Then visit INA Museum, where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army first hoisted the Indian Tricolors. Visit Loukoi Pat, a picnic spot. On your way back, visit Japanese War Memorial that is at Red Hill, in Bishnupur of Manipur.
Day 4 :
Excursion to Moreh – Myanmar Border (109 Kms / 3 hrs one way)
Today after early breakfast if you want to experience the thrill of crossing over what is perhaps India’s most exciting under-explored international border, then this is the tour for you. We take you to the border town of Moreh and cross over into Tamu in Burma (Myanmar). In Tamu, we will see all bustling bazaar, friendly people and main Buddhist monasteries. We can top it all off with a delicious Burmese meal. As if that wasn’t enough, on our way at Tengnoupal, have stunning views at 5,000 feet, forming the India-Burma border. Explore Shenam Saddle where fierce fights of the WWII happened in between British and Japanese.
Day 5 :
Hotel – Imphal Airport (IMF)
