Singapore Vacation
Day 1 :
The City Centre
Begin your day by stepping into the world of Gardens by the Bay, home to impressive two conservatories: the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome along with the OCBC Skyway. From here you’ll get a birds-eye view of the gardens. In the afternoon, make your way to the iconic Art Science Museum that is known for its stunning architecture resembling a lotus flower. It boasts a diverse range of exhibits showcasing the perfect blend of art, science, and technology. The permanent exhibition, Future World, is an immersive journey through a world of art, science and magic displaying a collection of digital interactive installations. As the day comes to an end, make your way to Merlion Park for a twilight walk along the waterfront. You’ll find the mythical Merlion, a famous symbol of Singapore with a fantastic view.
Day 2 :
Cultural Immersion
The next day will be dedicated for exploring Chinatown and Little India. These neighbourhood has its own distinctive feel, decorated streets and preserved shophouses epitomizes the multi-cultural identity of Singapore. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a spot where you can admire its stunning architecture and learn about Buddhist culture. You should discover the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore, the Sri Mariamman Temple, which offers intricate carvings and an insight into the city’s Indian community. Another great option is to indulge in a dim sum lunch at Yum Cha, which is just around the corner from Chinatown MRT station. The cultural immersion can will be completed by visiting the Little India, three stops away from China Town on the MRT Northeast line. Later, visit one of the oldest Hindu Temple in Singapore comprising a gopuram, the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, which is dedicated to Kali, the Goddess of Destruction. In the evening, head towards the heart of Singapore’s Malay community and a charming corner of Singapore’s cultural heritage and Malay royalty. The next place will be the Sultan Mosque, Arab Street and Haji Lane.
Day 3 :
Arts & Culture District
The day will begin with a visit to the National Museum of Singapore to get an insight into the country’s history and culture. The Arts & Culture District is home to some of the most beautiful heritage buildings in Singapore. You’ll visit several structures today before heading to the more modern side of Singapore. You will wander down the Orchard Road, the Singapore’s shopping belt, lined with numerous malls and boutiques.
Day 4 :
Universal Studio & Sentosa Island
Begin your day early and make sure to grab a map to plan out the shows and rides you want to prioritise. The Universal Studio & Sentosa Island offers an excellent spot where you can experience some thrilling rides and attractions. There are many themed zones to explore at this theme park, so there is something for everyone. For little adventurers, the Madagascar zone has fun rides like King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round. Thrill-seekers should definitely try the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster in the Sci-Fi City zone. Another place is to explore the preserved coastal fort. Fort Siloso, displays Singapore’s rich military history which is both educational and interactive.
Day 5 :
Nature and Parks
On your final day, you’ll head out of the city and explore the Singapore’s biggest wildlife park, Singapore Zoo, River Wonders or Bird Paradise. These parks are big, and the weather will be hot and humid. We suggest you choose just one or two spots to visit in a day but if you’re planning to visit two or more of parks during your stay, make sure to buy a Mandai Pass that allows you to combine two or three parks at a discount.
