Africa trip –

• Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in Tanzania

Arrival in Victoria Falls Airport with scheduled transfer at your stay arranged for 2 nights. Tour for the area near the Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe side. On the 3rd day, leave for Chobe National Park in Botswana before connecting a flight to Nairobi towards Kenya. Next day flight for Masai Mara and arranged stay for 3 nights before driving to Tanzania for doing activities like safaris in Serengeti for another 3 nights then a visit to Ngorongoro to spend another 2 nights with last night stay arranged at Lake Manyara.

Safari To Victoria Falls-Masai Mara

Wildlife Safari Ride

Day 1 :

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Arrival on the airport. Make sure to get through total immigration and customs. Later get transferred to the banks of the Zambezi which remains one of the giant rivers inside the African continent.

Your stay will be at a traditional thatch lodge, located 5 km from Victoria Falls.

Day 2 :

Tour of Victoria Falls & Cruise in Zambezi River

Tour the Zimbabwean side of the famous Victoria Falls offering numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the fall. We´ll walk through the permanent, beautiful misty rain forest which flanks the fall.

Visit Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. The Victoria Falls are Zimbabwe´s most famous attraction. During afternoon at sunset, a boat cruise on the Zambezi River. On your arrival at the jetty, you will be greeted with a cold cocktail and the sounds of African music. Bars on both deck serves a selection of cocktails, iced drinks or beverages and a variety of snacks.

In the fading twilight hours, take this sunset cruise. Heed the call of Africa while sipping traditional cocktails and enjoying light snacks on board.

Day 3 :

Victoria Falls – Chobe National Park, Botswana

Get transferred to Botswana for game viewing on Chobe River cruise. Take a wildlife safari for an afternoon game drive inside Chobe National Park.

Day 4 :

Victoria Falls – Flight to Nairobi

Embark on another game drive in the Chobe National Park. Drive to the border for visiting Nairobi, Kenya. There are only 3 flights per week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Take a 4:30 Hour flight to Nairobi.

Day 5 :

Nairobi – Masai Mara

Transfer to the airport for the afternoon flight to Masai Mara. A 1 hour flight to the reserve. You will be meet with your guide at the airstrip. Later, enjoy your first game drive on way to your stay before sunset.

Day 6 :

Safaris in Maasai Mara

You will have 2 full days of safari activities. Either full day game drives with picnic lunches or 2 extended game drives with a lunch break in between.

The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain’s game including the black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah. Masai Mara has numerous elephants and a range of wildlife that are available inside Kenya. You will have 3 game drives during the day to enjoy tree studded grassland and rolling hills. Alternatively, you can opt for a picnic during your game drive.

Day 7 :

Safaris in Maasai Mara

Spend 2 days on safari activities. Either choose game drives with picnic lunches or extended game drives managed twice with a lunch break in between.

The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain’s game including the black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah. The place offers numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife available in Kenya. You will have 3 game drives on this day and will enjoy the tree & grasslands. Alternatively, you can opt for a picnic while on a game drive.

Day 8 :

Drive from Masai Mara to Shores of Lake Victoria

Early morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara Game reserve. Breakfast follows after that and from there you will depart Maasai Mara and reach at the Lake Victoria in Tanzania. The drive will be via the Isebania, Kenya – Tanzania border town.

Post immigration & customs clearance, you will meet counterparts from Tanzania office and drive to the South-Eastern Bay of Lake Victoria. Arrive at your lodge in late afternoon. Relax on the shores, the breeze will be refreshing.

Day 9 :

Drive from Lake Victoria to Serengeti

Leave the shores of Lake Victoria. With game drive en route, you will arrive in Serengeti National Park, which is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The name comes from the Maasai ‘Siringet’, meaning endless plains and is equal in size to Northern Ireland. The Park contains an estimated three million animals, most of which take part in seasonal migration which makes it one of natures’ wonders.

Later, take an afternoon game drive.

Day 10 :

Game Drives inside Serengeti

Entire day covering game viewing activities with optional packed meal during lunch or you have the option for having meal on your stay. Choose a afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park till sunset. With an area of 14763 sq km, the park has wooden hills, grassy plains and mountains showcasing savannah acacia lands.

The National Park displays concentration of wildlife. Witness the great Wildebeest migration, a great occurrence in which around 2 million wildebeests migrate every year inside Massai Mara plains.

Day 11 :

Drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Depart Serengeti National Park and drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation area through Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.

Day 12 :

Tour of Ngorongoro Crater

Today descend 2000 ft (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour. Explore the forest areas inhabited by wild animals such as apes or elephants. Later, visit lake area around Ngorongoro crater where you may see flamingos.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Day 13 :

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

With picnic lunch boxes, go on a full day game drive in Lake Manyara.

Day 14 :

Flight

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Nairobi via Arusha. Get transferred to Namanga – Kenya Tanzania boarder town. After immigration and customs clearance, go Nairobi, for your flight out of Africa.
