Phnom Penh to Siem Reap –

From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, a four days getaway for an exciting vacation in Cambodia. These UNESCO site remains attractive to include on a vacation at Siem Reap with Phnom Penh at Cambodia, generally offered under Vajra Travel.

Day 1 :

Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport

An agent will be there to receive you at Phnom Penh International Airport. From there, you will be transferred to Phnom Penh city, which is not only a commercial capital of Cambodia, but a political node also. The city has several sites to visit, among which the famous are Killing field Cheung Ek, the Genocide Museum, the royal palace, Toul Sleng and Wat Phnom. Several attractions ranging from Wat Odnalom, largest monastery in Phnom Penh to the central market, which was built during the colonial period, a nice place for shopping.

Note: If the palace remains shut, your trip can be arranged towards Diamond Island and little Paris in Phnom Penh.

Day 2 :

Phnom Penh City – Siem Reap

Transfer for the southeast trip, towards Angkor temple, more than 313 km drive from Phnom Penh on a national road number 6 through provinces of Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom before arriving in Siem Reap. Explore Skun, a town which hosts one of the most unusual markets in the world. At first sight, the town looks like just a market, rather it will definately amaze you, as it does focus on a product, quite famous among tourist – fried spiders. A famous spot serving delicacy of Cambodia. Among all the fruits & vegetable stands, you’ll notice women folk selling fried and spiced spiders. Later, visit a 12th century Stone carved place, a well-preserved site.

Day 3 :

Angkor Temples

Begin exploring the Angkor archeological park, an area comprising 401 km square, with more than 235 temples in the site. The tour starts from the Southern gate of Angkor Thom, the capital of the Khmer rule. The tour continues towards Bayon, Baphoun, and Phimeanakas.

Explore the jungle temple Ta Prohm, covered mostly by the jungle where one of the largest Hindu temple in the world, Angkor Wat is situated, a wonder among seven wonders, a national symbol of Cambodia.

Day 4 :
