Day 1 :

Saigon

Landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Night stay in Saigon. Trong Mai Islet with Dinh Huong Rocks remains the epitome of Halong Bay. It has a symbolic and spiritual value.

Day 2 :

Cu Chi Tunnels & City excursion

With early morning excursions to Cu Chi Tunnels that were central strategic sites in war operations, including the 1968 Tet Offensive. They served as living shelter, munitions depot, supply road, hospitals for thousands of guerilla fighters. Witness bomb craters, man-traps & many remnants of war. Explore the Post Office, Independent Palace & Notre Dame Catheral.

Day 3 :

Mekong Delta (Cai Lay)

Depart from Saigon, for Mekong Delta. On your way, take a tour for exploring Pineapple Workshop and learn about products like jam and candies. Next, stop will be at the way where family of craftsmen make various straw bags, boats, incense and cultivate mushrooms.

Arrive at Thien Ho, a market, from where walk around while stretching your body a bit before getting on a boat for exploring the area. While boating, stop by a fish farm, a rice factory and have a nice lunch at this town. Later, drive to Saigon. On your way, visit the oldest Buddhist Temple in the Mekong Delta, which features a mixture of Chinese, Cambodian and Vietnamese architectural styles. Also Vinh Trang Pagoda will be at your itinerary. inside Mekong Delta, these venues are known hubs for meditation for Buddhists.

Day 4 :

Saigon

You will have time for your shopping grudge. There is a blend of conventional cafes serving Vietnamese coffee and espresso in western style cafes. In Saigon you can sip the local Vietnamese coffee. Your salivary glands will go haywire while having a delicious meal in Vietnam.

Day 5 :

Airport

Drop at airport. I hope that this unforgettable getaway will definately create colors to your future explorations in Vietnam.
