8 Day Vacation at Swiss Alps

Day 1 :

From Geneva / Zurich Airport, choose a train for Montreux, a region of vineyards which puts a breathtaking backdrop of Alps. The long, flower-bordered lake promenade links Vevey and Montreux to Chillon Castle, a fascinating holiday destination.

Day 2 :

After, the scrumptious meal, check out, arrive at the Junction. Enjoy your ride to Zermatt, a spectacular picturesque vacation spot situated at the foot of Matterhorn with options of skiing and a lively nightlife. Zermatt still have horse drawn sleighs which creates unique nostalgia for tourists from around the world.

Day 3 :

Explore Matterhorn, a glacier paradise at 3,883m, which is the highest sightseeing point in Europe. The exciting tour from Zermatt to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise takes about 45 minutes. Here chilling snow usually appears round the year.

Day 4 :

Ride to Interlaken, situated between Thun and Brienz Lake. It has some of the oldest tourist resorts in Switzerland. Walk at the Hoheweg, famous spot for watches & jewellery boutiques.

Day 5 :

On your trip to Jungfraujoch via Eiger and Mönch, you halt at Eismeer and Eigerwand. At 3,454 m, highest station of Europe, Jungfraujoch exhibits high-alpine terrain where one can get nice views from Aletsch Glacier. The spots that you can explore on this day at Jungfraujoch are the Ice Palace, Sphinx Observatory and Jungfrau cinema experience.

Day 6 :

Explore Mount Titlis, Mount Pilatus & Mount Rigi. In spite of this, if you have to visit Zurich, a 45 minute journey in Swiss Rail is there, or else, scenic Schaffhausen and the famous Rhine Falls are some nice options.

Day 7 :

Board a train to Zurich. From Zurich, take time for hopping on a trip which comprises visits to shopping spots or financial area, museums, historical Limmatquai, St. Peter’s church with the largest clock-face in Europe. Explore Schaffhausen or Bahnhofstrasse by your own.

Day 8 :

Drop at zurich Airport.
