Day 1 :

Bagdogra Airport / NJP to Phuentsholing

After your arrival, you will be transferred to Phuentsholing. Check-in to your hotel. Spend your day on the border town. Do visit nearby places, if your health permits. On this day, all the required papers for your onward exploration will be provided.

Day 2 :

Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Today you will begin from Phuentsholing to Thimphu (7,500 ft), the capital of Bhutan. On the way, enjoy Bhutanese mountains. Check-in at your hotel/resort, you have the option to roam around or take a break.

Day 3 :

Thimphu

It consists sightseeing of Tashicho Dzong, the place for most of the offices at Thimphu. Visit the National Library, it consists manuscripts or texts from Buddhist scholars as well as modern literature. Also, you will visit Zorig Chusm, which teaches traditional handicrafts, the National Memorial Chorten, handicraft emporium, Institute of Tibetology and few traditional spots.

Day 4 :

Thimphu to Paro

After having your breakfast, check-out from your hotel and explore Paro Dzonkha for the next phase of your Bhutan trip. In your way, visit Shaba River point and capture some great pictures in this river. After reaching Paro, check-in at your stay. Later, you will visit Rinpung Dzong, a monastery or fortress established under Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. If you are planning to visit Paro at spring for witnessing a Tsechu, that will be a nice option.

Usually in evening hours, many people like to enjoy shopping in local bazaar.

Day 5 :

Excursion in Chele La and Haa Valley

On this day, an excursion in Chele La & Haa Valley will take place. A drive through rhododendron & pine forest takes you at Chele La, situated at 14,500 ft., Chele La offers undaunted and great views of Mount Jomolhari. After 1 hour drive in stunning picturesque mountains, idyllic wooded forests and monasteries, you will enter at Haa Valley.

Day 6 :

Paro to Phuentsholing

Return at Phuentsholing from Paro. Check into your hotel. Stay in Phuntsholing or there are options to exit the Kingdom on this day, if you wish.

Day 7 :

Phuentsholing – Jalpaiguri/ Siliguri

Today your Bhutan trip ends. The vehicle will take you to NJP/ Bagdogra (IXB). With plenty of memories to cherish, a six-night holiday ends.
