Day 1 :

Guwahati – Kaziranga

After arrival at airport/railway station, our representative will greet and arrange all transfers. Visit Kaziranga National Park (approx. 193 km). it is famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, a World Heritage Site. Rest for a while, in front of a bonfire. Spend your rest of the day while planning with fellow travelers and watch dancers/ musician’s energetic Bihu performances. Afterward, come back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Kaziranga National Park

Today you wil enjoy a jeep safari at Kaziranga. Witness several species of animals or birds including Langur, Boar, Wild Water Buffalo, Fish Eagle, and many wild species. Assam is the largest producer of tea in the world, you will have a plantation trip of tea estates. You will visit the local units witness their silk dresses and well crafted shawls.

Day 3 :

Kaziranga to Dirang

On day 3 of the Assam and Arunachal tour, a hearty meal starts your adventure. Check out for the next destination, Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh (approx. 6 hours). Dirang is known for its snow-clad peaks, streams as well as lush greenery. Drive along the wonderful pathways and if time permits, visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, a region for 200 species, especially for Red Panda.

Day 4 :

Dirang – Tawang

Check out, explore Dirang, Get yourself involved in hot spring therapy. Walk down, dip your legs, and have a relaxing time in these hot springs which also have medicinal values.

Next, drive to Mandla Phudung – base camp for trekking. After spending time here, set out for a 4 hours drive from Dirang – Tawang. Monastery remains the top most places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh.

On your way, stop by Sela Lake at Sela Pass, located at 4170 m ft, and Jaswant Garh, a famous historic landmark. Once you reach, check in at your hotel in Tawang.

Day 5 :

Tawang

Begin your day early, explore Tawang. Visit Pangang Teng Tso Lake, which offers enchanting views. Afterward, spend time at Bumla Pass, located at 4633 m above sea level. Visit Sangetsar Lake, which was formed after the 1950 earthquake.

Day 6 :

Tawang

Begin your 6th day exploration in Arunachal. Have a delicious meal. Spend your morning relaxing. You should also choose Tawang sightseeing. Visit Tawang Monastery, the largest in India.

After lunch, visit the War Memorial. After visiting Buddha statue, your Tawang trip will end with a shopping tour in bazaar, where you can buy souvenirs. You will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 7 :

Tawang – Bomdilla

Spend your morning strolling around the city. Go for a walk, have tea, or explore the local markets. In this day, you will get transferred from Tawang to Bomdila which is amongst the popular destinations among tourists, at an 8000 ft above sea. The picturesque mountain views will leave you mesmerized. On your way, halt at a waterfall and click photos. Stop by a streamside for a mini picnic. Once you reach there, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 8 :

Bomdilla – Balipara

Arise for a fulfilling breakfast, check out and enjoy a drive from Bomdila to Balipara which is around 4 hours. On your way, stop at Bomdila Monastery. It has a spiritual essence of Buddhism and it resembles the Tsona Gontse Monastery at South Tibet. Afterward, continue your drive to the hotel. In the afternoon, explore Nameri, indulge in jungle trekking with an armed guide. Later in the day, return back to the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 9 :

Balipara – Guwahati

Begin your day early. Post breakfast, check out and get assisted from Balipara towards Guwahati which will take around 4 – 5 hours drive. Once you reach Guwahati, check in to your stay at a Hotel. The Guwahati city can be explored on this day. Cover Kamakhya and Vashistha Ashram. Seek blessings from divine at these revered place of worship. Afterward, spend your night in Guwahati.

Day 10 :

Guwahati, Assam
