  • Ukhrul

  • Keibul Lamjao

A floating national park in Loktak, Bishnupur, has ecosystem apt for birds of at least 116 species, including 21 species of waterfowl, Manipur Sangai or brow-antlered deer. These are the main attraction of this park.

  • Thoubal

For hiking or trekking, Thoubal is a town situated in hills and hillocks. Thoubal has a wide range of adventure activities amidst its hilly areas. A balance of green landscapes with blue water bodies makes it a nice spot for family and friends.

  • Kangla, Imphal

It was the royal seat of the erstwhile capital of Manipur. The Ningthouja dynasty ruled from 33 A.D until 1891, then the British took over. It was opened in 2004, the 238 acre Kangla consists the ancestral abode of ruling clan, burial sites, temples, shrine & certain megalith structures. The Kangla region has a cult status for the Manipuri people as all relics, imprints and signs left behind in history of Manipur originates from here. Govindajee Temple is inside the remaining fortified wall. Its array of pillars are venerable structure.

  • Hijagang Temple

In 1846, The Hijagang temple was built, it was renovated. Statues of ‘Kangla Sha’ – a mythical animal in Manipuri folklore stands in front of the Uttra (coronation halls of the erstwhile Manipuri Kings) to commemorate the original brick & wood structures which were destroyed via British occupation on this fort.
